Ivka practises financial services and commercial real estate law. Ivka’s practice encompasses a broad range of real property related issues, with an emphasis on secured financing and mortgage lending as well as the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of commercial, office, industrial, retail, condominium and multi-residential properties. She has represented financial institutions, limited partnerships, developers, joint ventures, investors, landlords, tenants and corporate lenders and borrowers.

Prior to joining Wilson Vukelich, Ivka practised commercial real estate and financial services law at two prominent Bay Street law firms. Ivka received her Bachelor of Science (Class I Honours) degree from Queen’s University in 1995 and her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 1999. She was called to the Ontario Bar in February 2001.

Involvement & Recognition

Ivka currently sits on the board of directors of TechConnex.  She is also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network – Toronto Chapter, Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) – National and Greater Toronto Chapter, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.

In her spare time, Ivka enjoys adventure travel, kayaking and spending weekends at her cottage in Muskoka.
